Celebrate Our Differences

Aristotle said, “It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it.” There are many different people in the world all with their own set of values and beliefs. It is this kind of freedom to think and have an opinion on a subject and free will that is part of our divine inheritance. When we can listen to the thoughts and ideas of others with an open mind and practice tolerance for the way people choose to live, think and worship, we can learn to celebrate the diversity in the world instead of condemn others who believe differently than we do. Someone once said that diversity is the one true thing we all have in common and that we should celebrate it each day.
